  • I was giving Beth and Jared a hard time earlier today about not updating their Xanga sites.  They countered with my severe lack of updating and so here I am. Hopefully, this will inspire them. Fast forward two years from the last post...

    I"m finally finished with school having graduated from MCG this past May. I just recently passed both the National Physical Therapy Examination and the GA law exam and am now a licensed physical therapist in the state of GA. I'm set to start my very first real adult job with a real adult paycheck on Monday July 14th.

    I just moved to the Decatur/ATL area where I'm sharing an apartment with this Jared. He looks a little different now. That's an old school picture from Gatlinburg.

    I'll be working at Dekalb Medical Center while he attends MCG for nuclear medicine and attends clinic around the Decatur(not ATL) area. He brings a washer/dryer, pots/pans and an awesome Kitchemaid mixer to the deal. And he's also pretty cool. I'm bringing an awesome couch to the deal as soon as I get my first paycheck. He also brings his girlfriend to the deal and she just happens to be my best friend. Long live the triumvirate. According to the picture on his closet/drum room door we're in a band together. Jared has to play the drums though. Beth and I suck at the drums.

    I am definitely looking forward to seeing the two of them more.  It's also nice being a pseudo-adult and living on my own without being in school.

    This ------------------------------------------------------->
    is the Jarrod that I'm dating. He's wonderful and warm and cuddly and he makes me laugh. I heart him. He gave me Oswald Cobblepot for Christmas this past year. It makes me very happy that we live in the same vicinity now. The three hour drives between ATL and Augusta weren't very fun. He gets to move out of his crappy apartment this month and into a house that his friend the fire-breathing fireman purchased. They will have garage cats. Awesome.

    We're going to see Robert Plant/Alison Krauss in concert on Thursday. Ten days later, we're going to see Foreigner and Bryan Adams in concert which is even more awesome because that's the concert duo that Carl talks about in the Foreigner Belt episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. "My name is Shake Zula, the mike rulah..."

    Realistic and not-so-realistic future plans for the apartment:
    -couch with ottoman
    -dining room table
    -big arse T.V.
    -a wii
    -Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
    -a Macbook
    -the smell of awesome baked goods that Beth will make

    We've already found an awesome mexican restaurant right down the street. They have live Mariachi music on Friday nights. Now we need to find an awesome Chinese delivery place.
